The FCC recently filed an $18.7 million fine against service provider DataConnex for violations of program rules in the FCC's Rural Health Care (RHC) Program. The FCC alleges DataConnex took millions of dollars from the RHC Program that it was not entitled to, "willfully and repeatedly" provided inaccurate, forged, misleading, or unsubstantiated documents to support it had made payments to the Universal Service Fund, and violated multiple RHC competitive bidding rules.
