For more than a century, hospitals have played a central role in our nation’s healthcare system, serving as a key community anchor institution caring for and connecting millions of people across the country. Today, hospitals are an economic mainstay supporting 16.5 million jobs across the country..
At TQ, we’re honored to serve hospitals every day through our networking and technology solutions. Join us May 12-18 as we celebrate National Hospital Week 2019!
Hosted by the American Hospital Week (AHA), National Hospital Week celebrates hope and healing, and the hospitals, health systems, and the women and men who support the health and well-being of their communities through dedication and care from the heart. Celebrating National Hospital Week also provides an opportunity to thank all the dedicated individuals – physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators, and so many more – for their amazing contributions.
Join the conversation online! From May 12-18 we’ll be sharing news articles, infographics, and more across our social media channels about how hospitals are making an impact in our cities and communities.
Want to get involved? Check out these key National Hospital Week events:
#MyHospital Campaign: The American Hospital Association (AHA) encourages you to share photos and videos on social media highlighting the critical role hospitals occupy in their local community. Be sure to use the #MyHospital and #HospitalWeek hashtags on all your social posts to be sure they’re part of the online conversation. The AHA will be retweeting and sharing photos, videos and other social posts and potentially displaying them on the National Hospital Week webpage of AHA.org. For more information, visit https://www.aha.org/ahia/get-involved/national-hospital-week.
Image Takeover: The AHA encourages all hospital advocates and supporters to modify their social media profile images during National Hospital Week to the recognizable hospital “H” during National Hospital Week. The logo can be downloaded from the National Hospital Week webpage.
